Hi! I’m Megan, a travel obsessed mama bird, teacher, and wanna-be blogger. My husband and I have big dreams to take our wild boy to visit all of the national parks in the lower 48, and we are currently making big strides to see that happen.
One of the ways we are doing that is through simplifying and streamlining our stuff, and that includes our wardrobes. Having really beautiful jewelry has been a fun way to make my simple outfits a little more exciting and different without having a million things in my closet. We certainly can’t call ourselves ‘minimalists’ (I have a record collection and about 30 coffee mugs), but we’ve found that buying less totally makes travel more possible! In between the trips, we happen to live in a pretty amazing city. Stick around for a glimpse into a few of my favorite spots in Greenville, SC!
Greenville has some incredible coffee shops. I could go to a different one each day of the week and not be disappointed. One of our favorites, though, is The Village Grind. Not only is the coffee amazing (and the matcha tea lattes!), but the atmosphere is so cozy you will want to just move right in. The girls behind the counter are really sweet, too, and totally patient with our little wild man. The Village Grind is nestled in the Village of West Greenville , which is full of artists, makers, movers and shakers. You can’t visit The Village without feeling a little inspired!
Saturday mornings are for farmers’ markets, and Greenville’s doesn’t disappoint! Plants, fresh fruit, veggies, and meat, and a plethora of baked goods are always available. We can’t leave without getting our hands on some of the Stecca bread from Swamp Rabbit Cafe. It also helps that the market happens right on Main Street, so when noon rolls around and the vendors pack up at lightning speed, it’s so convenient to already be downtown in the middle of everything!
